Accessibility Statement
HCA Insurance aims to provide a website that can be used by people with a wide range of abilities, devices and assistive technologies. Our current development target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
Measures included in the website
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, buttons, links and form controls.
- A skip link, visible focus indicators and reduced-motion support.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, labels and descriptive link text.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and empty alternatives for decorative images.
- Text-based form and ZIP-code error messages.
- Responsive layouts intended to reflow on small screens and at high zoom.
- Direct scheduling, phone and email alternatives when an embedded service is unavailable.
Testing and known limitations
Automated checks can find only some accessibility barriers. HCA's V5.4 review includes keyboard, zoom, reflow, contrast and form-error testing, with screen-reader and embedded-scheduler testing still requiring recorded human acceptance. We do not claim that every third-party service or every page is free of barriers.
Request assistance or report a problem
If you encounter a barrier, call (518) 888-6622 or email info@hca-insurance.com. Include the page URL, the problem you encountered, your browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format that would work better. We can also provide website information by phone or scheduled appointment.
